BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The New Mexico State men's tennis team is set to defend its Western Athletic Conference Championship title this Saturday, April 27, at Noon (MT) when the second-seeded Aggies face off against No. 3 Kansas City at the Brownsville Tennis Center.
NM State enters the weekend 14-9 overall on the year with a 4-1 mark in league action and 4-3 mark when playing on a neutral court. The last time these two teams squared off, the Aggies prevailed 6-1 at home as part of the first WAC Pod.
New Mexico State is led by sophomore Louis Menard, who owns a 24-10 overall mark in singles play and perfect 5-0 record in league matches.
