LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's basketball recorded its 12th-straight victory Tuesday night with an 80-42 victory over Texas A&M International in the Pan American Center.
"Obviously we got off to a great start, and then about the second media we were talking about 'this is about us', trying to execute, play better, compete better and compete smarter," Aggie head coach said. "[We're] kind of playing against the game at that point and try to use it to try and get better and work on us."
New Mexico State (23-4, 11-1 WAC) got off to a quick 2-0 start after winning the tip and never looked back, jumping out to an 11-3 lead at the 15:41 media break.
