DENVER – New Mexico State Athletics had 52 student-athletes from teams that competed in the spring earn Academic All-WAC honors while an additional 17 student-athletes were named to the Freshman/Transfer Academic All-WAC team.
Women's track & field had the most honorees amongst the spring teams with 17 while softball came in second with 10 student-athletes.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
