BOULDER CITY, Nev, – Looking to defend its WAC Men's Golf Championship, the NM State golf team got underway at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. NM State is chasing Sam Houston by five strokes following the first round of competition and sits in second place.
Three Aggies sit inside the top 11 after the opening day of action. Garrison Smith sits at two-under-par, birdieing three times throughout the round. An eagle on the second hole from Aidan Thomas was the highlight of day one for the Aggies.
