LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State (10-34, 5-16) closed out its home schedule for the 2021-22 season on Saturday, falling in a pair of games to counterpart California Baptist (29-24, 11-10). The Aggies battled to a one-run defeat in game one, dropping the game by a score of 10-9 before suffering a 5-0 defeat in the second bout.
GAME ONE
The first inning was a matter of ups and downs for the defending Aggies as the leadoff hitter, Estrada, managed an infield single before advancing to second base on a wild pitch during the next at-bat.
