PROVO, Utah – The NM State women's golf team finished the Riverside Classic in a tie for third place with one of the top mid-major teams in the nation. Both NM State and No. 37 Denver shot an 883 (+19) in Utah.
Meiji Tungprapunvong chased down an individual title on Tuesday, falling just short. Tied for the lead late into the afternoon, Tungprapunvong finished tied for fourth place, shooting a 217 (+1) throughout the tournament. The fourth place finished marked Tungprapunvong's first top-ten and first top-five finish of her collegiate career.
Next up for NM State is the 2023 WAC Championships, which will take place in Blaine, Washington, beginning on Sunday, April 23.
