Tuesday evening, New Mexico governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced the easing of the state's COVID-Safe Practice for Intercollegiate Sports guidelines. The most important part of the amendment to the state's guidelines now states all athletic teams at NM State are allowed to hold in-state practices.
While home games are still not allowed to occur for the Aggies in New Mexico, it will allow Aggie athletic teams to conduct practices contingent on testing protocols which all teams have been in compliance with since the beginning of the state's guidelines.
