BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. – New Mexico State softball split a doubleheader with CSU Bakersfield on Saturday as the Aggies lost 7-4 but bounced back against the Roadrunners to take the series finale 13-3.
Game One
After two scoreless innings of play for both teams, Kayla Green hit trouble against CSU Bakersfield (9-30, 2-10) in the third as she gave up a leadoff single to Cydney Curran. A sacrifice bunt and a passed ball advanced Curran to third. Selena Gonzalez hit into a fielder's choice and brought the runner home for the first run of the game.
