BEAUMONT, Texas - Halfway through its regular-season WAC schedule, NM State has done nothing but win.
Five of the six singles players who took the court for the NM State men's tennis team won their matches, helping the Aggies claim a dominant 6-1 WAC win over Chicago State Friday morning at the Thompson Family Tennis Center on the campus of Lamar University.
The victory pushed the team's record to 8-12 overall and 3-0 in league action, keeping the Aggies atop the WAC standings with three regular-season league matches to go.

• The reigning WAC Doubles Team of the Week, Gijs Akkermans and Corey Clarke got things started for NM State with a 6-3 victory over Jesus Perez Plaza and Jakub Zamorski in flight two action.
