TUCSON, Ariz. – The 2023 outdoor track and field regular season has come to a close with the conclusion of the Desert Heart Classic in Tucson on Saturday night. Multiple Aggies recorded personal bests and strong performances in a competitive field filled with hopefuls for the 2023 NCAA Preliminaries. Terice Steen led the way after rewriting the NM State all-time 400m hurdles record for the third time this season – all by Steen herself – crossing the line with a time of 55.80 and finishing in sixth place.
