LAS CRUCES, N.M. - NM State Athletics and UTEP Athletics have joined forces to promote the upcoming Men's Basketball Battle of I-10 with a Media Blitz in El Paso on Nov. 11th, and in Las Cruces on Dec. 2nd.
The Nov. 11 Media Blitz will take place from 5-8 p.m. in the Haskins Center and the Dec. 2 Media Blitz is slated for 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Pan American Center. Each Media Blitz is the day prior to the UTEP-NM State men's basketball game in the corresponding venue.
The Media Blitz in each arena will feature the home team's pep band, cheerleaders, dance team and mascot along with UTEP Director of Athletics Jim Senter and NM State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia.
