LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State Track and Field will travel to Tucson, Arizona on Friday to compete in the Willie Williams Classic at the University of Arizona to open up the 2016 outdoor season.
"We are looking forward to opening our outdoor schedule at the University of Arizona," said assistant coach Larry Carmichael, "We think the competition this weekend will be good for us, and are anxious to see how the team does in some of the outdoor-only events. We think will be a better team outdoors, with events like the hammer, discus and javelin.
