PROVO, Utah – After 36 holes in Utah, NM State still has a chance to make some noise at the PING Cougar Classic. The Aggies entered the second round in ninth place before climbing three spots to finish in sixth place for the day. Just one shot separates third, fourth, fifth, and sixth places so NM State could quickly make a run up the leaderboard on Saturday.
Playing in NM State's fifth spot in the lineup, Garrison Smith posted the best score for the Aggies on Friday.
