LAREDO, Texas. – The NM State men's golf team heads to Laredo, Texas to compete in the Border Olympics, beginning Monday. NM State kicked off its spring season just two weeks ago with the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate. The University of Houston will once again host its annual tournament in South Texas.
In February of 2022, NM State tied with Illinois State for seventh at the Border Olympics. Individually, Garrison Smith led the efforts for NM State, shooting a 224 (+8) to finish in a tie for 29th.
Later this spring, the Aggies will also play in events hosted by Louisiana (Feb 27 – Mar.
