With things knotted at 3-3 between NM State and Chicago State, Nguyen made sure the Aggies wouldn't suffer their first league setback of 2022 by coming up with a match-clinching 6-3, 6-4 win on line five to push her team to a 4-3 victory over the Cougars Saturday evening at the Championship Field Tennis Courts on the campus of Seattle U.
The win, NM State's second in a row, hiked the Aggies' 2022 mark to 5-13 and a perfect 2-0 in WAC action.

• Unlike their first WAC match of 2022, the Aggies found themselves playing from behind after Chicago State captured the doubles point.
