DALLAS - Conference USA revealed its Volleyball Players of the Week on Monday, with NM State's Nellie Reese earning Oct. 7 Setter of the Week honors. The junior facilitated an outstanding offensive effort for the Aggies, as they tallied 125 kills on a team-wide .325 efficiency across the two-win weekend. Reese becomes the third Aggie to win a CUSA Player of the Week award in 2024.
Reese was exceptional individually, tallying 25 assists on Friday as her side swept LA Tech. The first-year Aggie added a service ace and five digs in the straight-set victory.
