DAVIS, Calif. - Another day, another narrow loss at the Golden State Invitational.
The NM State men's tennis team won a trio of singles matches, but it wasn't enough in its 4-3 non-conference setback at UC Davis Saturday afternoon.
DOUBLES
• Once again, NM State got off on the right foot in doubles action with Louis Menard and Petr Stavrovskij posting a 6-1 win on line three. Just like Friday, however, NM State saw that lead slip away.
• Martin Simecek and Corey Clarke narrowly missed out on a win in line two, dropping a 7-6 decision there.
