LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State softball team's game against UTEP on Tuesday, April 5, in El Paso, Texas, has been postponed, the team announced on Monday morning. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Helen of Troy Softball Complex on the campus of UTEP.
The postponement comes as a result of severe wind warnings in the area, including anticipated winds gusting up to 40 miles per hour.
The game has officially been rescheduled to one week from its initial date and time with the first pitch of the Battle of I-10 matchup set for Tuesday, April 12, at 6 p.
