KANSAS CITY – The New Mexico State men's tennis team heads back from the first Western Athletic Conference cluster atop the standings after sweeping Seattle u Saturday afternoon 7-0 at the Plaza Tennis Center.
The NM State (12-6, 3-0 WAC) No. 2 doubles team of Stijn de Haan and Mauri Benitez dominated their match, blanking their counterparts from Seattle U (7-12, 0-3 WAC) before Enrique Asmar and Louis Menard clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 victory on court No. 3.
