NORMAN, Okla. – The NM State men's golf team was named an All-Academic Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America with seniors Mike McGilton and Tadhg Campbell picking up Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors, the GCAA announced.
To qualify for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar awards, a student-athlete must be a junior or a senior, compete in 50-percent of their team's rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, 78.0 in Division II, 78.0 in NAIA and 79.0 in Division III, 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.
