LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Earl Lewis was named director of basketball operations on Tuesday as announced by NM State head women's coach Mark Trakh. Lewis was elevated after serving as the team's graduate assistant last season.
"Earl has worked with our student-athletes as a grad assistant this past season and did a great job," Trakh said. "Our athletes like and respect him and are looking forward to working with Earl as our Director of Basketball Operations."
Lewis will begin his second season with the Aggies this upcoming season as he takes over arranging community service events, schedule of team activities and film exchange among other things.
