LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Complete and utter domination.
The NM State women's golf team put together one of the best rounds in program history Tuesday at the Aggie Invitational. The Aggies shot a seven-under-par 281, tying the third-lowest round in team history, and sit alone in first with a 19-stroke lead (577, +1) ahead of second-place Northern Arizona (596, +20).
The seven-under-par 281 is also the lowest round ever by NM State at the Aggie Invitational.
"We've had three tournaments before this, and we've had some rounds where we've been close to finishing off and really playing well," head coach Danny Bowen.
