LUBBOCK, Texas - The NM State track and field team had a solid outing on day one of the Masked Rider Open in Lubbock, Texas.
The Aggies had athletes in two events, the javelin and the discus, on Friday. Andi Harrelson (42.60m) and Mariah Humphrey (40.82m) each posted personal-best throws in the javelin. Harrelson's mark was good enough for third place with Humphrey coming in right behind her in fourth place. Kaitlyn Ward finished sixth in the discus with a throw of 35.32m to round out the day for the Aggies.
