LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State baseball's Nick Gonzales continues to rack up the hardware during awards season, earning Perfect Game/Rawlings First-Team All-America honors.
This is the third All-America nod for Gonzales in 2019 and eighth in his career. The last time an Aggie baseball player to garner three or more All-America accolades back-to-back years was Billy Becher from 2003-04.
Gonzales was named a Baseball America Second-Team All-American earlier in the week. He's also the 2019 NCBWA District 8 Player of the Year as well as a finalist for the Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger Award and received Collegiate Baseball First-Team All-America honors back in May.
