VAIL, Colo. – For the second time this season, NM State women's golf is bringing a top-three finish back to Las Cruces. Led by individual champion Alison Gastelum, the Aggies finished in second place, shooting 874 (+10) as a team. In Wednesday's final round, NM State posted the lowest score in the field, firing a six-under 282.
Gastelum took home the individual championship after some late round heroics. Gastelum, a senior from Chihuahua, Mexico, birdied the 18th hole to break a tie with Central Arkansas' Madison Holmes.
