MANHATTAN, Kan. – NM State women's golf senior Dominique Galloway is headed home with a trophy.
The native of Rio Rancho, N.M, closed out the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational with a one-under-par 71 performance in the final round of the tournament Monday to claim the individual runner-up award. She finished in sole possession of second place with an overall score of one-under-par 215.
Galloway, who finished four shots behind individual champion Kansas State's Niamh McSherry (211, -5), fired a one-under-par 71 and one-over-par 73 in the first and second rounds, respectively, Sunday.
