LAREDO, Texas – New Mexico State senior Kenneth Fadke II chalked up his second consecutive top-10 finish in leading the Aggies at the weather-shortened Border Olympics at the Laredo Country Club.
A senior from Hobbs, N.M., Fadke completed the storm-interrupted first round with a 1-under-par 71. He then toured the par 72, 7,375-yard Laredo Country Club with a 3-under 69 in the concluding round for a 36-hole total of 4-under 140 to tie for eighth.
Storms and rain on Friday kept the players from completing the first round and shortening the scheduled three-round event to two.
