LAS CRUCES – Tonight is “Star Wars Night” at the Pan Am Center, which is appropriate. Two of the brightest men’s basketball stars in this part of the country will cross paths when visiting Wyoming wages war on New Mexico State.
New Mexico State (5-3) boasts 6-9 sophomore Pascal Siakam. Wyoming (5-4) counters with 6-2 senior Josh Adams. Both average 24.9 points per outing, the nation’s highest total.
And both doubtless will need help if these two NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago are going to be Force-ful. Or at least have a successful season.
Siakam’s output is a full third of the Aggies’ 74.
