DENVER – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) announced the top horses in college equestrian on Friday. The top 10 horses were selected from each of the four disciplines in the NCEA; reining, horsemanship, equitation on the flat, and equitation over fences.
The New Mexico State Equestrian saw three of their horses named to this year's top horse list. Blaze (Too Hot for Words) and Congo (Farside of the Sky) earned the nod for horsemanship and Gunny (Windchester Gun) was recognized in reining.
The New Mexico State equestrian team will wrap up their 2017 season at the NCEA Championships, April 12-15, in Waco, Texas.
