LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The generosity of Aggie Nation has been on full display through what was a 2020-21 season fraught with adversity for the NM State men's and women's basketball teams.
In an announcement made Tuesday, NM State athletics has revealed that through its Donate-4-State giving initiative, $182,365 has been raised as a result of the donations of 560 Aggie supporters. That dollar amount vastly exceeded the Aggies' initial goal of $100,000 which was announced at the beginning of the campaign.
NM State's Donate-4-State initiative started in late November of 2020, a little less than a week after the Aggies' men's and women's basketball team relocated to various locations in the state of Arizona for the start of their respective 2020-21 seasons.
