LAS CRUCES, N.M. - One of Florida's finest is coming to New Mexico.
The Aggies inked Jeremiah Dervil on Friday, signing a 16th standout to their 2021 recruiting class. NM State initially signed 15 on Wednesday, the first day of the early national signing day period.
Dervil attended Lely HS in Naples, Fla., where he played for head coach JJ Everage. Used as an all-around athlete, he lined up on both sides of the ball during his high school career.
The Naples native passed for 1,039 yards and 11 touchdowns in nine games as a senior during the 2020 campaign.
