LAS CRUCES – Doug Martin is focused on the 2016 football season.
Martin informed his New Mexico State football staff and players on Tuesday following the Sun Belt’s announcement that the Aggies, as well as Idaho, would not be playing football in their current conference past the 2017 season.
“The biggest thing that we can do is keep progressing and win games,” Martin said. “If we do that, we still hold the power. I’m excited about (the 2016 season). I want to see what we do this year and all of the other things will take care of itself.
