SALEM, Ore. – New Mexico State men's and women's cross country teams finished in second at the Charles Bowels Invitational, hosted by Willamette University. The meet was held at McCulloch Stadium and Bush Park.
"Both sides had a good showing to come away with second place," said interim head coach . "We had some good improvements from some individuals, but we know we can do better as a group. Overall it was a good experience and I know they will be motivated and excited for our race in Santa Clara."
In the Men's Cardinal 8k, NM State finished in second place with 87 points, behind Portland with 23 points.
