LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Following a strong week at Riverbend Country Club, the Aggies' Angela Garvin has been named the Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday morning.
Garvin, a native of Feeding Hills, Mass., put forth one of the best performances of her collegiate career to land a finish inside the top 10 among a field of 79 individuals at the Riverbend Intercollegiate. In the opening round on Monday, Garvin shot a 68 (-4) which marked her lowest round of the season and her first round in the 60s since last season.
