SPRINGVILLE, UTAH. – New Mexico State women's golf won the 2017 Hobble Creek Fall Classic on Tuesday with a 54-hole score of 866 (+14). This is the second straight year the Aggies have won in the season opener (Red Raider Invitational, 2016).
Play was led by Pun Chanchai who took home individual medalist honors after shooting 69-66-69—204 (-9). Chanachai's impressive play featured 14 birdies which led the field. Dominique Galloway finished in fifth with scores of 70-71-72—213 (E) which included firing the only eagle for the Aggies in the two-day event.
Kennedie Montoya fired a 74-74-73—221 (+8) which placed the senior in a tie for 10th.
