IRVINE, Calif. - The NM State women's soccer team (3-8) gave the top team in the WAC all it could handle but two goals in the final ten minutes by California Baptist (8-1-2) would be the deciding factor, as the Aggies dropped a 3-1 contest on Thursday afternoon.
The Aggies controlled the first 20 minutes of the match and didn't allow the Lancer offense to get anything going. This allowed the Aggies to strike first, as scored her fifth goal of the year in the 22nd minute finding just enough room underneath the top crossbar to give the Aggies the lead.
