EL PASO, Texas – Staying within the Borderland for the first and only time in the 2024-2025 track & field season, NM State put together a strong day at the Sun City Classic, hosted by UTEP. and took first-place finishes in their respective event debuts – two of 13 total podiums for the Crimson & White in El Paso.

The quartet of , , , and opened action for NM State on the track, posting a time of 45.05 seconds to finish second overall. This mark ranks as the second-fastest 4x100 meter relay time on the season for the Crimson & White.
