DALLAS, Texas – As excitement for the 2024 cross country season ramps up, Conference USA has released their Preseason Poll on Thursday, Aug. 29.
Voted on by the league's ten head coaches, NM State was picked fourth on the men's side, while the women's team was picked to finish sixth. Middle Tennessee men and women were chosen as favorites to repeat their titles from 2023.
Last season, the women's cross country team finished tied for second with Liberty at the CUSA Cross Country Championships, while the men's team recorded a fifth-place finish, led by Freshman of the Meet and Second Team All-CUSA selections Thomas Croshaw.
