PHARR, Texas – On Wednesday, the Aggies kicked off day one of the WAC Championships at the City of Pharr Natatorium. In just one day, NM State has already accomplished something it had never done in its program's history as it received a record-breaking performance from its 800 free relay team.
The Aggies opened the day with the three-meter dive where Head Diving Coach Zach Hawley saw three of his divers reach the consolation finals. Once there, senior Italia Aranzabal turned in the Aggies' best performance of the day as she finished second with a finals score of 267.
