DENVER – New Mexico State Athletics had 41 student-athletes from teams that competed in the spring earn Academic All-WAC honors while an additional 26 student-athletes were named to the Freshman/Transfer Academic All-WAC team.
Women's track & field had the most honorees amongst the spring teams with 15 while softball came in second with nine student-athletes. The women's swimming and diving team had 10 freshman or transfers earn academic accolades with women's track and field right behind them with nine.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.
