LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State track and field team will travel to Mesa, Ariz. on Friday to compete in the Mesa Classic, hosted by Mesa Community College.
"This meet will be a lot like last week, in terms of competition," said assistant coach Larry Carmichael. "We have been challenging our athletes all week to take advantage of this meet and really make some moves up on the WAC performance lists in several events."
The meet will host several different teams from Division I, II and Junior College levels as well as professionals and Olympic hopefuls.
