FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The New Mexico State diving team posted a pair of top-eight finishes on the 1-meter during the second night of Western Athletic Conference Diving Championships at Wall Aquatic Center in Flagstaff, Ariz. Following the diving events, scores will be combined with last week's swimming scores and a champion will be named.
"The girls dove outstanding today!" Diving coach Miranda King said. "They both put together a very solid list in prelims to advance into the finals. The top-eight held some very strong competition and the girls held their own. Italia put together the strongest six dives I have seen her do in a while and hung in there with the best of the conference.
