TUCSON, Ariz. - The NM State track and field team wrapped up its regular season late Saturday night at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Ariz. Overall, the Aggies had one champion and had nine athletes place in their respective events amidst a challenging field that featured Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma and Oregon.
The Aggies lone champion came in the 3000m steeplechase when Mia Regan ran a personal-best to capture the title. Regan ran an 11:50.44 which just broke her previous best.
The most impressive mark of the night for the Aggies came from Dascha Robinson in the triple jump.
