LONG BEACH, Calif. – New Mexico State track and field started competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific and concluded the single-day Pacific Coast Intercollegiate at Long Beach State on Thursday.
In the 3,000m steeplechase at the Bryan Clay Invitational, Elana Kresl took 40th when she ran 11:00.11, a new personal record. Corinne Hanson placed 59th in the event when she clocked in at 11:15.03.
For the 5,000m, Jess Dominguez came in 12th for her heat, posting a time of17:09.25. Julia Yescas placed 13th in her heat when she recorded a personal-best time of 17:19.
