LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State baseball team will take on the New Mexico Lobos in the first of four games in the Rio Grande Rivalry series at Southwest University Park in El Paso, Texas on Tuesday.
This will be the 240th meeting between the two schools in a rivalry series that dates all the way back to 1948. The Lobos own the all-time series 155-84, with this being only the third neutral site game in series history. Last season the two teams split the season series with both teams claiming wild wins at home.
