MARICOPA, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's golf team wrapped up the first day of action at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic on Monday at the Southern Dunes Golf Club. Through two rounds of play the Aggies have shot a 293-295—588 (+12) and are tied for second out of 20 teams.
NM State's play features two golfers sitting in the top-10 led by Pun Chanachai who sits in first place after shooting a 67-69—136 (-8). Dominique Galloway follows behind with an even-par 72-72—144 to sit in a tie for eighth. Chanchai and Galloway join just one other golfer in the tournament field of 108 to card an eagle on day one.
