FORT COLLINS, Colo. – NM State women's golf delivered a dominant team effort in the first and second round of the Ptarmigan Ram Classic Monday to gain sole possession of first place, opening up a 10-stroke lead over second-place host Colorado State.
The Aggies fired an overall team score of 13-over-par 589 through the first 36 holes of play, led by senior one-under-par 143. Galloway sits alone in first place as an individual, shooting a three-over-par 75 in the first round before finishing the day with the best round of her collegiate career at four-under-par 68.
