LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State's Crissey Amberg and Kayli Farmer travel to Austin, Texas, for the NCAA 2017 Outdoor Track and Field Championships West Preliminaries. Amberg will compete in the 1,500m run and Farmer will compete in the javelin throw on Thursday, May 25.
"We are pleased to have two athletes qualify for the first round of the NCAA Track and Field Championships," interim co-head coach Larry Carmichael said. "Crissey Amberg and Kayli Farmer, both New Mexico high school products, have been outstanding throughout the season and have earned the opportunity to represent New Mexico State on a bigger stage.
