SPRINGVILLE, Utah – The NM State women's golf team opened the 2019-20 season in impressive fashion with a runner-up finish at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic Tuesday.
The Aggies fired a 27-over-par 879 as team, sitting behind tournament champion Cal State Fullerton (878, +26) by one shot. Senior Pun Chanachai tied for fourth as an individual with an overall score of three-over-par 216 to lead the way for NM State.
Fellow senior Dominique Galloway and sophomore Amelia McKee each earned top-20 individual finishes in addition to Chanachai. Galloway tied for 12th (219, +6), while McKee tied for 20th (222, +9)
Sophomore Chantal Dueringer, who was tied for 29th place through the first 36 holes, stayed right there, finishing at 11-over-par 224.
