LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The New Mexico State men's golf team wrapped up the Western Athletic Conference Championship in fifth place with a score of 283-301-298—882 (+30) over three days at Oakbrook Golf Club.
Senior posted the best finish for NM State as he fired a 73-71-75—219 (+6) to finish in a tie for 14. joined McGilton in the top-20 after posting a 72-73-77—222 (+9) over the weekend to finish tied for 20. and (+11) finished in a 24-place while placed 31 (+14). Jake Chanen from GCU took home the individual title at 3-under par.
For the second straight season, Kansas City took home the team championship as it shot a 290-278-285—853 (+1).
